That's exactly what I would recommend! This
is probably the best course of action when you consider Paul's symptoms.
Paul is displaying the primary symptoms of an asthma attack. The first
thing to do is to have him stop working out immediately. Have Paul sit down in a well-ventilated area and give
him water to drink. Also, cold air can trigger asthma, so if it's cold outside, take him into the training room
to rest.
Because asthma is a possible source of Paul's problem, you shouldn't
let him exercise until you know for sure what's going on. The only appropriate course of action is to take him
to the nurse or doctor as soon as possible. You certainly shouldn't send him home without having him evaluated
first. It's probably not necessary to call an ambulance at this point, as long as you take him to the school clinic
or physician right away.
