Now let's look at
your five clients. We know from their history forms that each client is quite different from the others in terms
of his or her exercise programs and goals. Some want to improve performance in sport, others want to enhance health,
some just want to develop a certain level of fitness. It makes sense then, that each will require a different individualized
training program. But where should you begin? The trick here is to look at the energy requirements of each client's
exercise program. By understanding the energy demands of different types of exercise, how
the supply of energy can limit exercise capacity, and how the energy systems adapt to exercise training, you can
develop the most appropriate exercise program to meet each client's needs.
Let's start by looking at the different energy systems, the substrates that each uses, and when these are used
to produce ATP during exercise. Click Next.
